Activists Arrested Under False Pretence: Congress

Congress leader K Jana Reddy claimed that the activists protested only because TRS reneged on its poll promises.

Telangana Congress leader K Jana Reddy today expressed his rage at the State government for filing "illegal" cases against several Congress leaders and activists for protesting government policies.

After unveiling the Indira Gandhi statue at Kethepally village in the Nalgonda district on Monday, Jana Reddy claimed that the activists protested only because TRS reneged on its poll promises.

People would teach a fitting lesson to the TRS in 2019 elections, he warned, and ridiculed that he wouldn't be surprised if the TRS party assures people of free 3BHK houses in the 2019 polls and reneges on it, too.
