Congress Flays KCR For Not Talking With RTC Unions Despite C

Senior Telangana Congress leaders today accused the Chief Minister of misusing his power and belittling the Constitution.
Hyderabad | 18th October 2019
AICC Secretary and former MP Madhu Yashki Goud and senior leader V Hanumantha Rao today criticised Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for not holding talks with the TSRTC employee leaders despite the High Court's directions.

Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan, they accused the Chief Minister of misusing his power and belittling the Constitution. Instead of talking like a well-meaning and conciliatory administration, KCR and his TRS government was staying headstrong and provoking the RTC employees further, they said, and urged Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to intervene to resolve the RTC strike.

Castigating him further, they said that KCR had offered Telangana only family rule, and had continuously duped the people and swindled funds in the name of development. He was now trying to privatise the TSRTC and help Megha make more money, they claimed.

The TSRTC employees had played a key role in the statehood movement and were fighting for their just demands, they said. The Congress would support the RTC strike and the State bandh, they added.
