Praja Patham is an interaction amongst the public, their elected representatives and a team of public servants.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will inaugurate the Praja Patham program on Sunday, 15 April, at Payakraopet in Visakhapatnam.
Praja Patham is an interaction amongst the public, their elected representatives and a team of public servants. It focuses on a set of priority issues, appropriate for the time of the year and the area/habitation concerned.
For the Praja Patham program, the AP government has released Rs. 7.82 crores to 23 districts vide G.O. 456.
Besides, Rs. 1,600.31 crore is being released as input subsidy to be distributed to farmers in drought-hit areas. This will be distributed during the Praja Patham program. The amount will be deposited directly to farmers' accounts online.
Also, 737 model schools will be established, at a cost of Rs. 2,200 crore.
Under the Prime Minister's Grameen Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), additional funds of Rs. 265 crs are also being released by the Centre to AP.
The Chief Minister, who will arrive at Visakhapatnam Airport by regular flight from Hyderabad at 7:10pm on 14 April, will arrive at the Circuit Guest House at 7:30pm, meet public representatives, and have a night halt there.
On 15 April, after breakfast at Yellamamchili MLA's residence at Seethammadhara at 9:10am, he will arrive at Nakkapalli village of Nakkapalli Mandal.
After meeting the officials and non-officials there, will arrive at the ZP School, Nakkapalli, and lay foundation stones for the NH-5 road to Vempadu R&B road, and other projects.
He will later attend the Praja Patham programs from 11:15am to 12:30 pm. He will then go to Adda Road, Thimmapuram, S Rayavaram Mandal at 12:40pm, and lay a foundation stone for KGVB School and interact with the people.
Then, Kiran Kumar Reddy will go to Darlapudi village S Rayavaram Mandal at 1:05pm, and lay foundation stones for CC roads and drains in the SC Colony.
The CM will arrive at Kotauratla at 1:45 pm and lay the foundation stone for various projects and interact with the public.
The next halt is at Thangedu at 2:10pm, Venkarapuram village at 3:20pm, and Kodavantipudi village at 3:50 pm. Then, he will go to Payakaraopet by helicopter at 4:15 pm.
The Chief Minister will leave by helicopter for Visakhapatnam Airport at 5pm, and arrive at Shamshabad Airport by regular flight at 8pm. (INN)
