Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday extended his greetings to Christians, on Christmas eve.
In a message, the Chief Minister said that Jesus Christ's message of universal love and peace is relevant for all ages and generations.
As a messenger of peace, Jesus Christ propagated the human values of love, peace, compassion and non-violence, he said.
"We all crave for peace and affection. The whole world erupts into joy and celebration on the eve of Christmas. It is time for us to resolve to rise above narrow considerations of jealousy and hatred so as to live in harmony," he said.
Kiran Kumar Reddy hoped that Christmas would serve as a source of eternal inspiration, taking India and the state of Andhra Pradesh in the direction of further progress. (INN)
