Former RTC chairman Gone Prakash, on Sunday, condemned Union Petroleum Minister S Jaipal Reddy's statement that the Centre is not in a position to introduce a Telangana Bill in the ensuing Budget session of the Parliament in March.
Talking to media persons at Public Gardens, Gone Prakash said that Jaipal Reddy's statement has exposed his stand on Telangana.
He described Jaipal Reddy as an "opportunist", and said the latter must explain what had forced him to make this statement at this juncture, and also name the persons who had made hism issue such a statement.
Recalling that when Union Home Minister P Chidambaram had made an announcement on Telangana in 2009, he said that Jaipal Reddy had claimed credit for it. (INN)
