Two persons committed suicides one after the other within two days in Marredpally in related incidents.
According to the police, one Shiva Kumar's wife discovered her husband chatting on WhatsApp with another woman. She warned her husband that she would inform the family elders about that. Upset by her warning, Shiva Kumar committed suicide by hanging himself to a fan when there was no one in the house.
The woman named Vennela, who was the one Shiva Kumar was chatting with, was also upset by the locals' allegations that Shiva Kumar had died due to her, and attempted suicide by consuming acid on Saturday afternoon at her residence located at Valmiki Nagar in Marredpally. She, too, died today at Gandhi Hospital while undergoing treatment.
The grief-stricken two families are lamenting how the deaths happened for a silly reason. The Marredpally police have filed cases and launched investigations.
