A day after concluding his nearly 7-month-long padayatra, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu returned to the state capital on Sunday.
Hundreds of TDP leaders and workers gave him a warm reception at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad, after he arrived from a regular flight from Visakhapatnam on Sunday afternoon.
TDP flags, and Naidu's cut-outs and banners were erected on all the routes from the airport to the party's headquarters, NTR Trust Bhavan, at Jubilee Hills.
It may be mentioned here that Chandrababu Naidu had walked about 2,817 km in a padayatra that started on October 2 last year, and covered 16 districts, meeting various sections of people. (INN)
