Finally, the Centre appears to have decided to work on resolving the pending issues pertaining to the two Telugu states post-bifurcation.
A meeting in this regard will be held in the national capital on March 5.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is to chair the meeting, which will be attended by the Chief Secretaries of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting is likely to discuss the issues of the High Court bifurcation, the implementation of the AP Reorganization Act and the issues in the 13th Schedule, and the infrastructure challenges.
The Centre had deferred the meeting originally to be held on February 23, to March 5.
