Citizens, particularly students, who had been running from pillar to post in trying to obtain various certificates from the Mandal Revenue Offices, will be a relieved lot from the New Year onwards.
Hyderabad Collector Natarajan Gulzar on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Director of E-Seva services, which will see that caste certificates, income certificates and residential certificates can be obtained through the E-Seva centres.
Earlier, these certificates could only be obtained from the Mandal Revenue Offices. Students who had to produce the caste and income certificates for fee reimbursements and scholarships had complained of a horrid time and lengthy waiting periods in obtaining these certificates.
Gulzar told media persons that the move will see the waiting time cut short.
He also revealed that No Objection Certificates for properties would also be soon available at the E-Seva centres. The Collector said that E-Seva officials are being trained for this purpose.
