Building Collapses At Seethaphalmandi, Claims Baby

A 14-month-old baby died and her mother suffered severe injuries after the slab of the building at Sitaphalmandi in which they were living collapsed on Sunday morning.

Following the incident, some local people immediately rushed the duo to Gandhi Hospital. The baby succumbed while undergoing treatment. Her mother Swati is said to be critical now.

According to locals, a new building was being constructed adjacent to the old building, and the workers at the new building were taking up curing works when the incident took place.

GHMC officials, including the EVDM teams, rushed to the spot and took up relief measures.
