With the talk of a no-confidence motion gaining ground, the BJP has jumped into the fray, saying that it would support the no-trust vote, whoever moves it.
BJP state president G Kishen Reddy said, "We will support the no-confidence motion, whoever moves it."
The party has three members in the 294-member House.
Only the main opposition, the TDP, has the required number (30) to move the motion. YSRCP, with 17, and TRS, with 17, fall short of the one-tenth mark to move the motion as a single block for the Speaker to consider.
However, the voting pattern in the MLC election remains to be seen - it can be a pre-cursor to the Budget session's floor coordination. (INN)
