Reiterating that the BJP is in favour of Telangana, the party's state president G Kishan Reddy demanded that the Centre ensure justice for all the regions in the state after the bifurcation.
Kishan Reddy said that the BJP would pressurise the Centre on carrying out necessary amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill to ensure justice for both the regions. Else, the BJP might not support the Bill in its present form, he indicated. He said that the BJP would seek the amendments to the Telangana Bill after its introduction in the Parliament.
He said that the BJP would form the Telangana state after the next elections if the Congress-led UPA government fails to make necessary amendments to pass the Bill in the Parliament.
The BJP leader also announced that his party would not have an alliance with any party till the process of Telangana formation is completed. (INN)
