The Telangana BJP president demanded the suspension of the policemen involved in the assault on three persons of Perumandla Gudem village of Warangal district.
Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today demanded that the State government suspend police officials who were involved in the assault on three persons belonging to Perumandla Gudem village of Warangal district.
He also demanded that the government file a criminal case against the CI and other police officers.
He said that his party was viewing the incident seriously, and warned that it would start an agitation on the issue if the State government did not fulfil those demands.
Bandi alleged that the police had used third degree punishment methods against the "innocent" people. He claimed that the three were holding a peaceful and democratic protest opposing the land-pooling initiative of the government in Warangal district, and that CI Visveswar Reddy, SI Bharat and other police officers used inhuman torture methods against them.
He added that the police officers had also shot the torture on camera and shown the videos to TRS leaders. He also claimed that the CI Visveswar Reddy had called up the victims and threatened to kill them in an encounter.
He demanded the suspension of the CI and the SI for their heinous crimes.
