Actor-turned-politician, TDP leader and Hindupur Assembly constituency MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna today responded on the decision of the Andhra Pradesh government reducing and capping the prices of movie tickets.
He said that he would abide the decision of the state government on the issue.
He however said that there was nobody who thought about the problems of the Telugu film industry.
He made these remarks while addressing a success meet of his recent movie
Akhanda in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, he also said that the industry would give a representation to the state government on the tickets issue after holding internal discussions.
He said that the entire industry should be united on the issue, and that it would not be enough if he alone spoke on it.
Speaking about Akhanda, he said that the movie was doing well not only in AP and Telangana, but across the world. He was receiving reports of the movie doing well even in Pakistan, he claimed.
He heaped praises on the director of the movie Boyapati Srinu, and said that he was one of the most acclaimed directors of the Indian film industry.
