The Hyderabad police has announced traffic restrictions and diversions near the Lal Bahadur Stadium in view of Babu Jagjivan Ram's birthday celebrations on April 5.
Police Commissioner A K Khan on Saturday announced traffic restrictions in the city in view of the birthday celebrations of Babu Jagjivan Ram.
The restrictions would be in force from 5:00am to 10:00pm on April 5 near the Lal Bahadur Stadium.
Accordingly, traffic coming from the Chapel road and Nampally intending to proceed towards the BJR statue, will be diverted towards the police control room (PCR) at the A R Petrol Pump junction.
Traffic coming from Gunfoundry and intending to proceed towards Press Club/Basheer Bagh flyover, will be diverted towards the A R Petrol Pump at the BJR statue.
Traffic coming from Ravindra Bharathi and the Hill Fort road, and moving towards the BJR statue, will be diverted towards the Chapel road and Nampally at the A R Petrol Pump junction.
The general public are requested to co-operate with the traffic police by taking alternative routes to reach their destinations. (INN)
