Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said that the future course of action on the Babli Irrigation Project issue would be decided at a party meeting later in the day.
Talking to media persons at the assembly premises, Naidu said the meeting would take the views of all the senior leaders of the TDP, and the party politburo.
Naidu and his team were forced to leave Dharmabad by the Maharashtra government. They were kept there in detention after being arrested while trying to visit the site of the controversial project.
The Maharashtra police had forcefully put them on a special aircraft and sent them to Hyderabad after withdrawing all charges against them.
Naidu proceeded to the NTR Ghat from the assembly premises, where he paid homage to the party founder and former chief minister N T Rama Rao.
He had earlier
