The Ayesha Meera murder investigation isn't as simple as it seems, with certain baffling questions threatening to expose an increasingly evil plot.
Ayesha's parents say that Satyam Babu, the prime accused of her murder, is definitely not Ayesha's killer. They claim that there is a concerted effort by authorities to hush up the case since it involves someone with power and money.
According to them the police are misleading people about the case. They have been trying to bring in random innocent people to examine their hand in the murder, and Satyam Babu - a youth with no backing from anyone in power - happened to be their best scapegoat, Ayesha's parents allege.
The parents are of the opinion that if the state government is serious about the case and if it wants to do justice to the bereaved family, then all the police officers of Vijayawada must be suspended and arrested. A thorough investigation would surely bring out the truth, they claim.
Satyam Babu's mother Mariamma had earlier
complained that her son was facing harassment at the hands of the police. She now claims to know how her son could escape from the clutches of so many armed policement, when he was well within their reach all the time.
In fact, there are certain painful unanswered questions involving Satyam Babu's health - he was reportedly fit and fine before his arrest, but started suffering from a neurological disorder soon after, which led to his hands and legs being almost paralyzed. Why he developed the disorder and why he isn't being treated are doubts that haven't been clearly answered.
