Assembly, Council Pays Tributes To ANR

The Legislative Assembly and COuncil mourned the death of legendary Telugu actor ANR.

The Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly on Wednesday paid rich tributes to legendary Telugu actor Padma Vibhushan Dr. Akkineni Nageswara Rao who passed away in the early hours of today.

The condolence motion was read out by Speaker Nadendla Manohar in the Assembly.

The House then observed silence for 2 minutes as a mark of respect for the departed soul.

A similar condolence motion was passed in the State Legislative Council moved by Chairman Dr A Chakrapani. (INN)
