Sec 144 For APPSC Exam Centres

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Prabhakar Reddy, on Thursday, said that Section 144 will be in force in and around 1 km of the examination centres in which the APPSC Group-1 preliminary examinations are being held on September 5.

Meanwhile, confusion remains over the holding of the APPSC Group-1 preliminary exams.

Pro-Telangana activists have been pressing for the postponement of the exams, seeking a clarification over the quota in jobs for those who pass the test. On the other hand, the APPSC Board has been vehement in its decision to conduct the exams on the earlier announced schedule.
