YSRCP Trashes CNN-IBN Poll Survey
Party leader Mysoora Reddy cited the sample size of the survey as being too small to justify the survey's authenticity.

Rubbishing the latest poll survey which was carried out by a national media house, YSR Congress had said that the survey has no authenticity, and that it seems to have been conducted only to paint the TDP in rosy hues, without going into the ground realities of the party in question.
?The size of the sample shows that the survey carried out by CNN-IBN-Lokniti-CSDS has taken a very small chunk of the population into account, and that it has taken up the exercise only to project the TDP and its chief Chandrababu Naidu as the most desirable political entities in the region.
"The credibility of the channel is at stake as the survey has many loopholes,? party senior leader Dr M V Mysoora Reddy told reporters on Wednesday.
"The survey has taken just 1,200 people as its sample size, which is too small to discern the results of the exercise from, and psephologists will be aghast at the manner in which it was conducted.
"Another organisation had taken up a similar survey with a sample size of 50,000, and the results showed that YSRCP is the clear favourite.
"We are not supportive of one survey over the other but are only questioning the rationale of the sample size of the CNN-IBN survey," he said.
"We are forced to say that the survey is nothing but a random juggling of figures as it has given 14% of votes to "others" without specifying them.
"The others in the fray are Pawan Kalyan's party Jana Sena, even though Pawan is not sure whether he will be contesting in the elections. Apart from that, the Lok Satta, the CPI and the CPM have all shared 4.4 % of votes between them. Where the rest of the 14% goes to has also not been specified," Mysoora Reddy claimed.
"Senior Journalist P Sainath, and the former Press Secretary to the Prime Minister, Sanjay Baru, have rejected the CNN-IBN survey," he said.
The party's SC cell convenor, Nalla Suryaprakash, who also addressed the media, flayed TDP leader P Kesavulu for the latter's highhanded behaviour against a dalit family in his constituency. (INN)
