Lokesh Naidu Gets IT & Rural Development Portfolio

Unfazed by the criticism of his Cabinet expansion where he accommodated defectors from YSR Congress Party in his cabinet, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu on Monday offered portfolios to the four YSRCP MLAs.

Naidu was choosy in giving top portfolios out, however. While Lokesh got the plum portfolios of IT and rural development (and Panchayat Raj), the rest had to make do with relatively less attractive ones.

The portfolios given to the YSR Congress Party defectors are:

Adinarayana Reddy - Marketing, Warehousing, Animal Husbandry and others
N Amarnath Reddy - Industries, Food Processing, Agri Business
Akhila Priya - Tourism, Language and Culture
Sujaya Krishna Venkata Ranga Rao - Mining and Geology
