Union Minister Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday informed that the government was planning to upload the details related to the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh to its website, from May 8.
Speaking to media persons here, Ramesh said that the complete details of the reports submitted by 21 committees would be accessible to the general public from May 8, a day after the conclusion of 2nd phase of polling in the State.
He also said that the progress in the bifurcation process would be reviewed on May 9.
Jairam Ramesh said that the bifurcation process would be hastened from June 2, the Appointed Day, as separate governments in both the States would become functional.
He also said that the Centre had decided to set up another committee, headed by the Union Home Secretary, to expedite the process. (INN)
