YSRCP Aims To Corner Naidu In AP Assembly Session
The YSR Congress decided to corner the government on the call money racket, the liquor and sand scams, unemployment, drought, support prices and other issues.
Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Chairman Dr A Chakrapani today directed the officials concerned to make appropriate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the five-day winter session of the legislature, which is scheduled to meet from December 17 to 22.
Dr Chakrapani held a review meeting with top officials in his chambers in the Council, and sought to know about the facilities and arrangements.
He also asked the police officials to tighten the security for the session.
Meanwhile, the Opposition YSR Congress Party is all set to attack the ruling TDP in the Assembly session.
In a meeting to decide the issues to be raised in the Assembly, YSR Congress Legislature Party leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy said that the State government was behind all the scandals that were coming up in the State.
The Opposition Party decided to corner the government on the call money racket, the liquor and sand scams, unemployment, drought, support prices to discolored grains, bauxite mining and the Asha workers' issues.
Briefing the media after the meet, the Party MLAs Jyotula Nehru and Pilli Subhash Bose said the Party would also demand total prohibition in the State.
All MLAs, MLCs and other leaders participated in the meeting at Lotus Pond.
