The Andhra Pradesh government has announced that it would introduce and ratify four new bills, including the GST Bill which was recently passed by the Central government in Parliament, in its upcoming special session of the State Legislature.
The AP cabinet, which met at Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's office, gave its consent to the four bills including the GST bill, the Stamp & Registration Amendment Bill and the N G Ranga Agriculture University Amendment Bill.
Meanwhile, political party members including those of the YSR Congress Party demanded that the government conduct the session for at least 15 days to discuss various issues of public importance like drought, illegal mining and corruption.
