The AP government will take a "Maha Sankalpam" on Monday at Mangalagiri upon completion of one year in office. Some four lakh people are expected to attend.
The Andhra Pradesh government will take a "Maha Sankalpam" on Monday at Mangalagiri upon completion of one year in office.
The Maha Sankalpam will be taken at the same venue where Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of the residual State of Andhra Pradesh after the state's bifurcation last year.
Elaborate arrangements are underway in Mangalagiri, where the Chief Minister will address a massive congregation of people from all areas of the state.
Some four lakh people are expected to attend the meeting.
In this connection, Chief Secretary I Y R Krishna Rao held a video conference with the district Collectors. The CS directed the Collectors to mobilize public from all the 13 districts and not stick just to the neighboring districts of Guntur, Krishna, Prakasam and West Godavari.
The district Collectors were directed to stock drinking water and food supplies for the people who will be attending the meeting. The government will make 10 lakh drinking water packets and five lakh butter milk packets available to people at the venue, said Kantilal Dande, Guntur Collector. (NSS)
