All-Party Meeting To Discuss City Issues Today
The Metro Rail alignment, housing, cleaning of the Hussain Sagar and the skyscraper zone around it, and the construction of Vinayaka Sagar will be discussed.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will chair an all-Party meeting on Tuesday to discuss various issues related to the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
The decision to convene the meeting on Tuesday was taken on December 3 after the Chief Minister held a review meeting with senior officials on the encroachments in Hyderabad.
Earlier, the Chief Minister had also assured the State Assembly that he would convene an all-Party meeting to discuss the issue of the alignment of the Metro Rail project. However, a few more important points have been added to the agenda, and during Tuesday's meeting issues including the Metro Rail alignment, housing, cleaning of the Hussain Sagar lake and the skyscraper zone around the lake, and the construction of Vinayaka Sagar are likely to be discussed.
The elected representatives of Hyderabad and representatives of all political parties have been invited for the all-Party meeting. (INN)
