Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today visited the Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada and offered special prayers.
He also presented silk clothes on behalf of the state government to the presiding deity on the occasion.
The temple authorities accorded a warm welcome to the CM during his visit.
The visit to the popular Vijayawada temple follows the visit yesterday to the Tirumala temple as part of the Salakatla Brahmotsavam, where the CM offered prayers to the presiding deity of the temple.
The TTD Chairman and EO had welcomed the CM to the temple.
Jagan had later also launched the Kannada and Hindi channels of the Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC).
The Chief Minister was accompanied by ministers Kodali Nani, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Venkampally Srinivas, Narayana Swami, Anil kumar Yadav and Gautam Reddy.
