Congress rebel candidate Adala Prabhakar Reddy on Monday claimed that he enjoys the support of over 50 MLAs from Seemandhra regions for his candidature in the Rajya Sabha elections.
Speaking to media persons, Adala said that nearly 175 MLAs are in favour of a united Andhra Pradesh, and that over 50 of them have assured support for his candidature. He said that the decision to contest the Rajya Sabha elections was individual, and that he was not enjoying the support of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Adala said that he hopes to raise the voice of Samaikyandhra by winning the Rajya Sabha seat. He asked MLAs to listen to their conscience and vote for him. (INN)
