Actor Sampoornesh Babu, of
Hrudaya Kaleyam fame, his wife and his daughter suffered simple injuries when an RTC bus hit his SUV when attempting to overtake it at the new bus station in Siddipet town on Wednesday.
Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the actor to a hospital.
However, Sampoornesh Babu and his family members were seen walking into the hospital on their own.
The RTC bus driver reportedly argued with the actor after the latter held the driver responsible for the accident. The bus driver alleged that Sampoornesh Babu had applied brakes suddenly leaving him with no way to control his bus without ramming into the SUV.
The police took the bus driver into custody and investigation is on. Meanwhile, the actor's family was discharged from the hospital after being provided first aid.
