870 Persons In City Paid Property Taxes Online

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) started taking measures to make all transactions to it electronic.

To encourage citizens towards making cashless transactions, GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy said that swipe machines were being installed at 19 citizen service centers in the city where people could pay their property taxes, trade license fee, Town Planning, advertisement and other fees by using swipe machines.

On Friday, 1,241 people paid their property tax, of which 870 made payments online, through Mee Seva and CSC, the Commissioner added.
