3 Rythu Bazars In Ranga Reddy District Immediately

Telangana Marketing Minister T Harish Rao today directed the officials to set up three Rythu Bazars on a war footing in Chevella, Pargi and Tandur towns in the Ranga Reddy district.

He said that so far, the farmers of these areas used to go though much pain and and spend a lot of time to shift the vegetables to the Hyderabad and Bowenpally markets. Upon getting to know of these difficulties, he took the step to get them remunerative prices, he claimed.

The bazars would help the farmers sell their vegetables for remunerative prices at the local level and help them avoid middlemen, and also enable the consumers get fresh and new vegetables at affordable price, Harish Rao said.

The government had issued orders for the setting up of the Rythu Bazars on Tuesday and also sanctioned Rs 50 lakhs for the Chevella Rythu Bazar, he said.

The minister asked the officials to expedite the process of setting up the Rythu Bazars with all facilities.

The minister also appealed to the farmers to make use of the new Rythu Bazars and get the most benefit for their produces.
