Y S Jaganmohan Reddy left his residence in Hyderabad for Idupulapaya in Kadapa, by Venkatadri Express on Monday evening.
He is accompanied by his family members. He is expected to pay his respects to his father at YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya.
Jaganmohan Reddy is likely to take a decision with regards to his future course of action after consulting his supporters at Idupulapaya.
Going by the reactions of his followers who had gathered at his residence since the news of his
resignation broke out, they were in favour of Jagan forming a separate political party.
Staunch loyalist Konda Surekha said that there was ample scope for a new party in Andhra Pradesh, particularly after YSR's demise. She added that the YSR family enjoyed people's support. The former minister pointed out that this was evident from the mass of people who were seen protesting after the resignation announcement.
