The Cyberabad Commissioner of Police cum Addl. District Magistrate (Executive) C V Anand (IPS) today released an order for the closure of wine shops.

Toddy & wine shops, including bars and restaurants (excluding bars in star hotels) have been asked to remain closed from 5pm on Sep 20 to 6am on Sep 22, in the following jurisdictions - Manikonda (village) under the limits of Raidurgam PS, and Puppalguda (village) under the limits of Narsingi PS of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.

The shut-down is in connection with the Gram Panchayat elections scheduled to be held on Sep 21. (INN)
