Member of Parliament from YSR district (formerly Kadapa), Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, on Monday said that he was deeply hurt by the suspension of Pradesh Congress Committee secretary Ambati Rambabu, and vowed to do whatever necessary to get the suspension revoked.
Talking to media persons in East Godavari, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy hinted that there was more to Mr. Rambabu's suspension than met the eye, by saying that, "Everybody knows the things that are happening."
He said that the work done by Mr. Rambabu and others like him had helped the Congress come to power twice since 2004.
Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy recalled that Mr. Rambabu had walked alongside his father, former Chief Minister late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, for more than 1,500km during the historic padyatra before the 2004 general elections, which catapulted the Congress to power.
The MP is currently in the district on the 7th day of the Odarpu Yatra. He also refused to take the suspension as an indirect warning to him. Mr. Reddy said that he was not committing any mistake to be warned.
