Former MP K Kesava Rao today expressed his faith in the formation of the Telangana state. Saying that all attempts by Seemandhra leaders to stop the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh will eventually fail, he reiterated that a people that doesn't want to remain the part of a state cannot be kept that way unwillingly. "We don't need permission to break away from something that is causing us harm. We don't want any further discussion or negotiation on this topic. Let us part as friends, or as foes, but part we will," said Kesava Rao.
Lending weight to Kesava Rao's statement was Nizamabad MP Madhu Goud Yakshi, who maintains that "traitors of Telangana cannot get away with it any longer." Threatening to use force if further hurdles are created in "the way for Telangana", Yakshi said, "If any Seemandhra leaders decide to try and stop the formation of Telangana this time, we will not protest and mourn. We will come together, and seize it for ourselves."
