Vikarabad Blast Toll Mounts To Five

A 21-year-old woman and two young boys succumbed to injuries they sustained during the explosion.

The death toll in the Vikarabad blast mounted to 5 on Sunday.

According to the police, 21-year-old Ameena Begum died of injuries that she suffered due to the blast at Rajiv Gruhakalpa Colony on Friday. She was undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital. Two more children - Saicharan (7) and Iliyas (9) succumbed to burn injuries on Saturday at Gandhi Hospital.

Meanwhile, the investigation agencies have intensified the efforts to solve the mystery behind the blasts. Besides the local police, a team from the National Investigation Agency has also visited the blast site. (INN)
