Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna thanked Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and the Andhra Pradesh government for its contribution to helping the Uttarakhand flood victims.
Vijay Bahuguna spoke with the CM, over phone, on Sunday morning, and thanked him. Bahuguna reportedly acknowledged that "at such a time of distress, timely, moral, physical and financial assistance from the government of Andhra Pradesh had helped a lot."
It may be recalled that Kiran Kumar Reddy had announced a donation of Rs. 50 crores towards the Uttarakhand floods. Of this amount, Rs. 10 crores were given directly to the Uttarakhand government, and Rs. 40 crores were donated to the pilgrim-amenities-complexes at Chardham. (INN)
