Stating the Telangana govt was firm on shifting the secretariat to Erragadda, minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao ridiculed the Congress padayatra against the move.
Hyderabad | 7th February 2015
Stating that the Telangana government was firm on shifting the state secretariat to Erragadda, Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao on Saturday ridiculed the padayatra launched by the Congress party against the move.

Speaking to media persons at the state secretariat, Tummala said that the opposition parties were not happy with the development agenda of the TRS government. Therefore, they were trying to stall the development process by organising protests.

He asked what the Congress would achieve by organising such protests.

He also ridiculed the proposed tour of Warangal by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Meanwhile, Jupally informed that roads spread across 5,035 km would be modernised by May next year.

He said that all the villages would be connected with their districts' headquarters with double-lane roads.

He said that better road connectivity was important to bringing development to the state. (INN)
