Telangana Wins 8 Out Of 27 National Panchayat Awards

Minister for Finance T Harish Rao today said that Telangana had won eight out of the 27 National Panchayat Awards announced by the union government.

Minister for Finance T Harish Rao today said that Telangana had won eight out of the 27 National Panchayat Awards announced by the union government.

He said that Telangana had secured the top position in four categories, and that three Gram Panchayats had been selected from each of the nine themes.

"Telangana's success in winning 8 out of 27 National Panchayat Awards is a testimony to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's vision towards rural development. KCR leadership and focus on rural development has resulted in this great achievement. Kudos to Panchayati Raj Minister @DayakarRao2019 garu and his team (sic)," Rao tweeted today.
