Telangana's police officials have been busy monitoring the implementation of the
ten-day lockdown in the state.
Cyberabad Commissioner of Police V C Sajjanar today inspected the implementation of the same at Rajendranagar, Attapur Pillar Number 151, Aramghar X Road, Shastripuram, Mailardevpally, Shamshabad, and Thondupalli.
The Commissioner spent time with the field-level police personnel and oversaw their work at the check posts on the major roads of the aforementioned areas. He advised them to adhere to all the required safety precautions to protect themselves from Covid-19 while interacting with the public.
Sajjanar reiterated the need to be vigilant as the pandemic was still "rampant".
Following his inspection, he expressed satisfaction that a majority of the citizens were voluntarily following the lockdown orders and that the police deployed across the state capital were doing their best to help the citizens who were trying to access emergency services.
The CP appreciated the efforts of the police personnel in ensuring the strict implementation of the ten-day lockdown while also facilitating the movement of essential and emergency services.
He then appealed to the citizens of Hyderabad to continue to follow the lockdown orders in order to curb the further spread of the pandemic.
Sajjanar was accompanied by Shamshabad DCP N Prakash Reddy, Traffic DCP S M Vijay Kumar, SOT DCP G Sundeep, CAR ADCP Manikraj, Rajendranagar ACP R Sanjay Kumar, Rajendranagar Traffic ACP Prasad, several inspectors, and special party commandos.
