Telangana Vidyarthi Vedika (TVV) president Sumanth, on Saturday, expressed the hope that all the problems of students will be solved after a separate state is formed.
Talking to media persons at the launch of the Vedika, Sumanth stated that since the past 10 months, the students of the region had been protesting against the lack of job opportunities. He said this would stop after the bifurcation of the State.
The Vedika president reminded that the students had taken the lead in the fight for a separate Telangana state and some were forced to commit suicide to highlight their plight.
Sumanth added that the Telangana students had decided to unite and form a body which would take their issues to the authorities. He revealed that the Vedika would be made up of the 15 lakh students of the region. Separate bodies for students of high schools, degree colleges and universities will be formed, yet all of these would be a part of the Vedika, the TVV president informed.
Sumanth said that the TVV organizational body had already been put in place with 20 vice-presidents, 26 general secretaries, 35 secretaries, 16 joint secretaries, 15 organising secretaries, a publicity secretary and a treasurer.
