Telangana Congress legislators on Wednesday accused the TRS government of having failed to make a proper representation to the Centre over the Polavaram issue.
Speaking to media persons separately, Congress legislators Dr J Geetha Reddy, D K Aruna, T Jeevan Reddy, P Sudhakar Reddy and Ramreddy Venkat Reddy said that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao failed to convene an all-party meeting on the issue.
They also said that the TRS government took no initiative in making strong representations to the Centre, and alleged that the BJP-led NDA government did injustice to the people of Telangana by passing the Polavaram Bill.
The Congress legislators warned that the Congress would stage serious protests on the issue. (INN)
