OU students plan Chalo Assembly, Section 144 imposed in city again

Students of Osmania University are planning a Chalo Assembly rally that will "siege" the AP Legislative Assembly on 20 Feb. Congress ministers Sridhar Babu and D K Aruna have requested the students not to go ahead with the rally, saying that anti-social elements might end up in the gathering.

The Hyderabad police has decided to impose section 144 in the city limits from Friday to Sunday.

Moreover, there are plenty of traffic restrictions being planned for the 20th, until 10pm at night. 5 fly-overs in the city will be closed. Flyovers at Khairatabad, Basheerbagh, Masab Tank, Telugu Talli and Narayanguda will be closed. Several roadways also will be closed for traffic movement.
