TSRTC Employees' JAC Convener Ashwatthama Reddy today slammed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his statement that the TSRTC would be closed due to the unions' strike.
Reacting strongly to KCR's comments, Reddy said that the RTC was still alive due to existence of the unions.
Flaying the CM for saying that the RTC was a sinking ship, Reddy held KCR responsible for the fund crunch and the denial of salaries.
"We have had many Chief Ministers who have come and gone, but the RTC has always been there for the people. KCR too will be sent home soon by the people for his headstrong and dictatorial attitude towards the striking RTC workers. The strike will continue until the government conceded our demands," he said.
He also asked the workers not to lose courage as they would finally emerge victors in the fight against the government.
