Telugu Desam Party MLA Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy, on Tuesday, condemned media reports which said that party president N Chandrababu Naidu had sold the Rajya Sabha seats to influential persons.
Talking to media persons at the Assembly media point, he said that there was no truth in the media reports, and termed them as "unfortunate". He said that the TDP has never stooped to such a level any time.
Unlike the Congress, the TDP has allotted nominated posts to those who served the party and people sincerely, he claimed.
Krishna Reddy also took serious note of YSR Congress leaders criticizing Chandrababu Naidu. He said that the YSR Congress' leaders have no moral right to slam Chandrababu Naidu, as Balineni Srinivas Reddy of the Jagan group had influenced voters in the Kovvur Assembly by-elections by distributing money and liquor.
Apart from this, leaders of the YSR Congress have also violated the model code of conduct in the by-elections, he alleged.
He also pointed out that YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had not denied allegations leveled against the 6 tainted ministers that they had favoured him in controversial GOs.
"This proves that Jagan is most corrupt, and that their leaders have no right to criticize the TDP," he said. (INN)
