Telangana TDP State President L Ramana and Working President A Revanth Reddy today warned that the Party would lay siege to the new residence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao if the State government failed to release funds towards students' fee reimbursement scheme.
Continuing their tirade against the TRS party, they said that the Chief Minister had spent crores on constructing the new residence but couldn't release funds towards the fee reimbursement dues.
Demanding immediate release of funds towards fee reimbursement, the TDP workers held a maha dharna at the L B Nagar crossroads under the aegis of the TNTUC where thousands of Party workers participated.
Besides Ramana and Reddy, MLA R Krishnaiah, party senior leader Ravula Chandrashekar Reddy, TNSF State President Chuluka Madhusudhan Reddy and others participated in the dharna.
Revanth Reddy called upon students to obstruct TRS ministers wherever they visited, and demand release of funds for fee reimbursement.
