13 special trains have been introduced to ease the holiday traffic till the end of January
The South Central Railway will run 13 special trains, in order to clear the extra rush of holiday traffic between various points. According to the SCR, Secunderabad-Kakinada, Hyderabad-Ajmer, Secunderabad-Vijayawada, Guntur-Secunderabad, and Machlipatnam-Secunderabad will have the special train services.
Train No. 07202, Secunderabad-Kakinada Town special train, will depart from Secunderabad on December 27, 2010, at 11:00pm, and arrive at Kakinada Town at 8:50am the next day. In the opposite direction, Train No. 07201, Kakinada Town - Secunderabad special train, will depart from Kakinada Town on December 26, 2010, at 9:00pm, and arrive at Secunderabad at 8:00am the next day. Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Anaparti and Samalkot in both the directions.
Train No. 07205, Machilipatnam-Secunderabad special train, will depart from Machilipatnam on December 26, 2010, at 8:30pm, and arrive at Secunderabad at 4:55am the next day. Enroute, the special train will stop at Chilakalapudi, Pedana, Kavutaram, Gudlavalleru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Kazipet.
These special trains will comprise 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 sleeper class, 4 general second class, and 2 second class luggage-cum-brake van coaches, totaling at 16.
Train No. 07208, Secunderabad–Vijayawada special train, will depart from Secunderabad on December 27, 2010 at 5:30am, and arrive at Vijayawada at 11:30am the same day. Enroute, the special train will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Mahabubabad and Khammam.
Train No. 07207, Guntur-Secunderabad special train, will depart from Guntur on December 26, 2010, at 9:00pm, and arrive at Secunderabad at 4:30am the next day. Enroute, the special train will stop at Vijayawada, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Kazipet.
These special trains comprise 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 6 sleeper class, 5 general second class, and 2 second class luggage-cum-brake van coaches, totaling at 15.
Train No. 07106, Hyderabad-Ajmer special train, will depart from Hyderabad on Fridays, i.e, 7, 14, 21 and 28 January, 2011, at 9:35pm, from Secunderabad at 10:05am, and arrive at Ajmer at 2:30pm on the second day (Sunday). In the return direction, Train No. 07105, Ajmer-Hyderabad weekly special train, will depart from Ajmer on Sundays, i.e, January 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2011, at 10:45pm, and arrive at Secunderabad at 1:00pm, and Hyderabad at 2:00pm the second day (Tuesday).
Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Malkajgiri, Medchal, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Sehore, Shujalpur, Berchha, Ujjain, Nagda, Kota, Bundi, Mandalgarh, Chanderia, Bhilwara, Bijaynagar and Nasirabad, in both the directions.
These special trains will comprise 2 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 7 sleeper class, 6 general second class, and 2 second class luggage-cum-brake van coaches, totaling at 18.
