The South Central Railways will run 12 weekly special trains, between Porbandar and Secunderabad, in order to clear excess passenger traffic.

According to the SCR, Train No. 09221, the special train from Porbandar to Secunderabad will depart on Mondays i.e., 17, 24 and 31 January 2011, and 7, 14 and 21 February 2011, at 11pm; and arrive at Secunderabad on Wednesday at 10:30pm.
The special train from Secunderabad to Porbandar will depart on Wednesdays i.e., January 19 and 26, and February 2, 9, 16 and 23, at 2:50pm; and reach Porbandar at 11:55pm the next day.
The trains will stop at Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Valsad, Vasai Road, Kalyan, Pune, Daund, Sholapur, Wadi, Tandur and Begumpet stations.
They will comprise an AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class, 1 Pantry Car and 2 Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches.
4 weekly special trains between Visakhapatnam and Nizamabad have also been announced.
Train No. 08569, the special train from Visakhapatnam to Nizamabad, will depart from Visakhapatnam on January 16 and 23 at 7:30 pm. It will reach Secunderabad at 8:20am and Nizamabad at 11:50am, the following day.
The special train from Nizamabad to Visakhapatnam, Train No. 08570, will depart from Nizamabad and Secunderabad on January 17 and 24 at 6:10pm and 9:30pm, respectively. The train will reach Visakhapatnam the next day at 10:15am.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Duvvada, Tuni, Anavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Kazipet and Kamareddi stations.
These special trains will comprise 1 AC 2-tier, one AC 3-tier, 9 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class and 2 Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches.
