On 24th April, 2011, Sri Sathya Saibaba had
passed away, thereby reportedly creating a void in the minds of his followers.
Ever since Sathya Sai departed from the mortal world, his devotees have been
desperately seeking a replacement for their spiritual guide. Various devotees claimed that Baba has graced their dreams and informed them that he would reincarnate as Prema Sai either in AP or in Karnataka.
The people of Anantapur now claim that Prema Sai has arrived in their district. A young man named Ramesh, garbed in white, who resembles the popular illustration of Prema Sai in circulation, is being hailed as the 3rd avatar of Dattatreya.
Ramesh himself, however, states that he never claimed to be Prema Sai, and that the villagers are the ones addressing him as Prema Sai.
According to sources, Ramesh has been an ardent devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba and Sathya Sai Baba for a couple of years now.
The villagers also state that the youngster had conjured rings and sweets out of thin air.
Sathya Sai's declarations that he would live up to the ripe old age of 96 were trashed with him breathing his last at the age of 85. Acknowledging that the spritual head could be wrong, his devotees seem to be readily accept a young man as Prema Sai little more than a month after his death, even though the god-man stated during his lifetime that he would reincarnate in Bengaluru 8 years after his then-present avatar's demise.
