Naidu Continues Fast On 6th Day In Hospital

Doctors have expressed concern over the increase in ketones in the TDP chief's urine, which are now at 3+.
Hyderabad | 12th October 2013
TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu has refused to discontinue his indefinite fast, which entered the 6th day on Saturday, despite being admitted at the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital following deterioration of his health.

Naidu was forcibly shifted to the hospital on Friday from A P Bhavan. However, the TDP chief, who was suffering from "mild dehydration", refused to take intravenous drip, and remained firm on continuing his fast against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Doctors have expressed concern over the increase in ketones in his urine, which are now at 3+.

They feared that Naidu's kidneys would be affected if he continues the fast. (INN)
